Um i got 70 slay before 70 cb at edge master which was hell, then i used lost city till 80 when i decided to get summoning.

Now i use pollivinch, i think slayers one of the best methods of training, if you keep the herbs you get on tasks when u range you never need to buy pots for when you decide to mele with overheads on.
