Uaex-Ali Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 So let me tell you a very funny and smart story that happened to me exactly 15 minutes ago as I am typing this. First of all , I am Ali I'm sure some of you know me. Anyways, I came back to Runescape to stake a little and decided to buy RSGP (As usal duhh) I bought 100m the first time from Playerauctions; the process was smooth basically you pay and in a few minutes you get a message with the world and location and its done. This time however, I got a message to receive my new purchase of 200m, the person messages me as usual and i hop into the world. Here the funny story begins ; Once i got into the world provided there was an account lvl - 3 Named XCX0liililii that Private messaged me and asked me to provide Phone Number and amount purchased, of course without thinking I immediately gave them my phone number and told them I purchased 200m. I get a phone call from a man called Mark Handley, telling me my username on Runescape and saying he's from Player Auctions. Basically what mark tells me is quite smart. Mark and his friends around him (probably) kept track of who would trade me and immediately told me on the phone that (Bot account from PA ) is trading me and I should follow his instructions, He said due to the high amount of Permanent bans from Jagex they have to trade multiple times and including some junk into the trade to make it seem "normal". So, I traded the bot (Original seller) and received my money, while this was going on mark was on the phone keeping up with me and told me to trade the other account (His account). Once he received the account he went afar probably traded someone and logged out, then proceeded to call me back. Here's the smart part, Mark told me that there was a bug from the Chinese botters as they were supposed to re-trade me the 200m as a final trade, but that account got bugged (Meaning the bot or whatever program they use didn't work ) and said that it happens twice in 500 orders a day and I am very unlucky therefore to fix this mistake I would have to repurchase the same amount and then they would refund the real life amount back and give me a complimentary bonus. At first I didn't agree, I got suspicious I actually at one point knew he is scamming me the person I am (Curious and have money to throw) went on with it. So mark then stayed on the line (Untraceable call from a phone) while I re-purchased. I yet again received the money from the Chinese botters this time I thought why do I have to give the 200m to this person on the phone if I have already received it ? The convincing part is that HE knew which world the bot would as me to log in to (I purposely didn't provide it to check if this person is really from Player Auctions ) . Anyways, I ended up getting scammed twice for 400m = 600$ Dollars because as soon as i traded the middle man (mark ) he told me to hop on to world 11 and say CYA and hung up LOL. Here are some points : -Mark definitely has a connection from Player auctions, he knew the email and the messages I was receiving from them -I went with all of this for the sake of not getting my mate's account banned for his sake -Writing all of this made me realise what an idiot I am LOL -I believed he's from PA because i once got a phone call from PA purchasing an account -Yes i got scammed twice at the same time by the same person -Please ask me questions to clarify as I wrote this really quickly and didn't add every detail :P TL;DR I got scammed 600$ , 400m 07GP by some smart dudes on the phone.

Mark is the guy selling you the GP. People sell GP on PA, you send the money to PA, you then get messaged the location and world by the player, you tell PA you received it. PA never told'em shit, you're not supposed to talk to any of them! It wasn't a bot that gave u the GP they are actually players. :p you're supposed to: Once payment is verified, pm them on PA ask for world + loc, once they give world + loc you meet them trade for ur gp and log out. U don't talk to em nublet. :p Player auctions is just a middleman and they take commission. Edited October 21, 2015 by Dazzled

You'll get a cheaper price, and if they don't give you your money you have the option to charge back and basically that person will be known in the pure community as a scammer. Always use paypal if you're buying, and if you're a seller don't sell to a sketchy person. LAST BUT NOT LEAST NEVER FRONT ANYONE MONEY NIGGA YOU WON'T SEE THAT SHIT AGAIN.
