Beastdefire Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I'm not in trouble or anything. Just have to write an apology lul. To:**** From: SonyPicturesEntertainment <SPECopyright@mc.mediasentry.com> Subject: Case ID **** - Notice of Claimed Infringement Date: Sat, 05 Dec 2009 03:49:53 -0500 Saturday, December 05, 2009 RE: Unauthorized Distribution of the Copyrighted Motion Picture Entitled 2012 Dear ****: We are writing this letter on behalf of Columbia Pictures Industries Inc., ("Columbia Pictures") who owns certain rights under copyright law in the title 2012. You are receiving this notice because your Internet account was identified as having been used recently to copy and/or distribute illegally the copyrighted motion pictures and/or television shows listed at the bottom of this notice. This notice provides you with the information you need in order to take immediate action that can prevent serious legal and other consequences. These actions include: 1. Stop downloading or uploading without authorization any motion pictures or TV shows owned or distributed by Columbia Pictures; and 2. Permanently delete from your computer(s) all unauthorized copies you may have already made of these movies and TV shows. If this notice is being received by an Internet Service Provider (ISP), please forward the notice to the individual associated with the activities. The illegal uploading, downloading, copying and/or distribution of copyrighted works are serious offenses that carry with them the risk of substantial monetary damages and, in some cases, criminal prosecution. Copyright infringement also violates your ISPs terms of service and could lead to limitation or suspension of your Internet service. You should take immediate action to prevent your Internet account from being used for illegal activities. An MPAA website, www.respectcopyrights.org, offers step-by-step instructions to ensure that your Internet account is not being used to violate the copyright laws. Also, the site can point you to an array of legal choices for enjoying movies and TV shows online. You can also learn there how theft of motion pictures and TV shows damages our economy and costs thousands of Americans their jobs. Please contact us at the above listed address or by replying to this email should you have any questions. We appreciate your assistance and thank you for your cooperation in this matter. In your future correspondence with us, please refer to Case ID ****. Your prompt response is requested. Respectfully, A Kempe Enforcement Coordinator MediaSentry

Beastdefire Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 I download a movie every couple of weeks. Just happened DCMA was tracking 2012. I'm not in trouble or anything. I just have to write some stupid apology and it's all good. so anything happen if u jus stop downloading? i got like 50 vids on my comp lol. Don't worry about it. All they're trying to do is intimidate people. If they were actually mad, they'd have taken me to court already. I just have to stop downloading (for a while) or get an IP address blocker.

Beastdefire Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 ive dl'd like, a ton of porn.. *Cough* do they copywrite that? No, it's pretty much just the big movie production companies and some music production companies.
watch me tb Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 I use uTorrent. Google PeerBlock or PeerGuardian. what do you want to block on peerblock?
Beastdefire Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 PeerBlock lets you control who your computer "talks to" on the Internet. By selecting appropriate lists of "known bad" computers, you can block communication with advertising or spyware oriented servers, computers monitoring your p2p activities, computers which have been "hacked", even entire countries! They can't get in to your computer, and your computer won't try to send them anything either. And best of all, it's free!
Shut Up Kid Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 ive dl'd like, a ton of porn.. *Cough* do they copywrite that? nop3z, but if its got a child somewhere in there, your fucked over in jail for 25-50 yrs
