Uaex-Ali Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Depends what laptop you have if its a high end laptop then yeah why not nothing will happen
Big J Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Depends on your RAM, also you're putting a lot of strain on your computer overworking it for long periods of time.
Kidinvisible Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 (edited) You can open as many as u can just watch ur cpu usage that it doesent go over 70 or something CPU usage wouldn't damage anything, it's temperature you would need to watch out for. Intel processors have built in safety mechanisms to shut them down long before they get damaged from overheating. AMD, not as much protection, but still have similar protection mechanisms in place. Generally, as long as you don't have a cheap fan that comes with the PC you should be ok. Laptops obviously can be more viable to overheating than desktops. Edited November 17, 2015 by Kidinvisible
Donkir81 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Just keep an eye on the temperature of your components. There are a bunch of apps that will do that for you. If the temperature gets too high, your computer parts could get damaged.
