How Long Do You Think Until DMM Dies Out??

Deadman was fun at first, with limited power in the game and everyone racing for resources.

Now, your 85 range, black d'hide, and glory don't stand a chance against any of the teams with barrows, barrage, 100+ cmb, whips, and venom.

Sure, you can sit in a safe zone, merch and harvest 5x EXP for safe skills, but what about when you have to venture out?

How much longer do you think Deadman Mode will remain popular, and why do you think it will phase out?

Can't really see it being popular in a month roughly. Clans will have established complete dominance and only the hardcore high levels will keep playing. Mid levels will probably quit and return to 07.

I quit last night - cannot do anything outside safe zone alone.

I'll give DMM another few weeks before dying out completely. The likes of RoT/Lemon and other teams are becoming too dominant. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer.

On top of that, I hate how easy it is for teams to get away. 2k+ noted sharks using at bank, tagging, freezing, praying... they will never die.

People come, people go.

It won't die out but not everybody will remain active on dmm.

They should do resets every month or two, if they want it to stay alive.

clans will die after they get beaten down #1 stays #1 due no need to train so they focus on items and will smash every1.

i think getting killed when questing is whats gonna make me quit in the future

Sounds like battlescape

I think it'll stay popular for a while.. After the clans have slayed everyone, they'll start bsing eachother; it'll become a server where you try to kill people for revenge = motive to keep playing.

literally the only reason to play it now if you don't pk in a group is to make money on 07, swap rated are like 1m to 8m. i would give it a few weeks for it to die out

unless you've got a team.. you're done for

Quit a week ago. Got raped too much. It will die soon enough, in the end of the day it's all about how much you can take. I got tired of losing my shit and traing again atlast.

Not more then one month, never tried it and never will.

First 14 days or something were very fun. Once clans hunt you down, whip, barrows, dfs and godswords enter the fun will be gone.

I would suggest a reset every X months, but doubt majority supports.

I got to the party about a week late, stand no chance with my 40 defence and 66 range running around with blue d'hide.

Sadly I didn't get to enjoy too much of it due to being too sick to be at computer but I truly enjoyed the first 3 weeks. Everyone wearing shit gear, fending off fuckers that tried to kill me while I mined, made the game more enjoyable for me.

I was never a fan of the giant safety net Jagex threw over this game from 2009 onwards (hell, even fixing the door spamming in 2007 upset me). Just ruined the fun. I understand no-one like dying for their shit but what's the point of playing if everything is safe and easy

^ for those wondering about door spamming. im talking that grimy ass, train at alkharid warriors and force someone to die by locking them in.
