making a new pc

not as good as i was originally going to make it because all i do is play LoL/rs so spending 1k+ gbp on a pc was a waste

 

heres what i decided on in the end

 

 

 

currently running a 512mb graphics card, a 1.8ghz i3, 2gb ram and have a 200gb hard drive so it's still a pretty huge upgrade for me lol

I have a 970 as well.

 

You don't need 16gb of ram, save yourself some £££ and run 8 like a normal human being.

 

I built my pc as well

 

edit: think about dropping £80 into a 120GB SSD to boot off (windows + internet browser) then use the HDD as a  slave drive.

Hard to re-use old motherboards in this day and age anyway, sockets change pretty quickly

I have a GTX 760 and it runs most games on Ultra just fine. Having a 960 is crazy strong for just league and RS...

 

Nice build but yeah, a bit big on the GFX Card side :p

Might aswell spend the extra $$ and get a i7 4790k. Dont get DDR3, get Vengeance DDR4, 

Grab a SSD 120/250gb for extra dedicated performance for RS/LOL/Boot-up(OS)

What case are you using? 

You're going to want a cooler, Grab a CM 212 EVO, it's $30 and super good.

 

Might aswell grab a R9 390, or get a 2GB EVGA 970, not some cheap other name brand.

What case are you getting?

What's your budget, And i'll find you a nice case that can support the cooler, on top of the heat produced by the i7 with proper ventilation.
