American/West Coast/Cali brothers; help me out!

So I wanna go study abroad next year and there's an option to go to Malibu, CA. I'd be going to the Pepperdine uni in Malibu. CA has always attracted me and I've always wanted to live/study in the USA for at least a few months so I really want to do this, but I've got a few questions for the boys who live around here. 

 

 

- What's the main beer brand? 

 

- How expensive is beer, so: $x per x bottles. 

 

- ~ How expensive is living. Eg. London is asking $15-20 or something for a fucking pizza. How about there. Cba paying a shit ton. 

 

- Also isn't Malibu like the most expensive city's over there because all the pornstars etc live there. 

 

- I heard CIA/FBI badboys are getting real mad if I'm 20 and I drink alcohol, because apparently they care about my brain. Do they really put you in jail for a night or w/e when u go out and buy alcohol (That's the shit I hear sorry if I'm wrong). 

 

 

 

Just tell me how is CA and preferably how is Malibu/LA.

 

 

 

 

Oh and if I'm good at football (the real football) and I get in this uni team (every uni has em right? at least in the movies) is there a chance they pay my college money or how does that work

Dunno how easy it would be for you to get a fake cause if the different region.. like no one is gonna believe a hawaii ID for you lol but if you're on campus you can probably tear up some house parties and just steer clear of bars. Beers like yeungling and shit are pretty prominent i'm out east so not 100% but you'll see a whole bunch of rolling rock,budweiser,coors,PBR... if you miss home smithwicks heineken guiness is everywhere

You won't get an out of state scholarship unless your some sort of genius. Also, California is fucking expensive. You can get any football (soccer) channel on directtv except for like the French and Italian league but who the fuck really cares about those.

California is the best place on earth, Pepperdine is a good school and that area is pretty nice but you would find that lots of schools up north are just as good and the Bay Area is a sick place to live. Good luck

as for pizza it really depends where you go, you can get a 5 dollar one at little ceasers or 7/11 but if you want a nice one it can go from 10 all the way to 30$.

 

for alcohol i mean it depends where you go, its everywhere its in bars, liqour stores, and grocery stores.

 

with the bars it really just depends on what night it is, i know in some university towns they have their nights where the entire school hits up the bars because the deals are great (Thirsty Thursdays).

 

 

 

I'm not from the LA area so i dont really know what to say when it comes to pricing and what not.

There are a few brands nothing specific: Blue Moon, Shock Top, Stone IPA, Stella, Corona, Kona, lagunitas, ETC.

 

Stay away from anything with the word LIGHT or Natural or Natty right after it unless you want to drink piss shit beer which is only good for getting fucked up for cheap.

Beer depends on the place you go. Just pre-game with some friends grab some shit and then go out. There are places with happy hour so check where you want to go. Your goal is to spend as little money as you can at the bars or clubs when you go out.

A single meal is anywhere from 7-13$ Tops depending where you go. Pizza is cheap as fuck 7$ for a medium 2 topping.

Parts of Malibu are expensive but its not that bad, right by the beach though and tons of fine bitches. Its all relative to where you want to live.

You wont be able to get into a bar without a passport saying you are 21 or at least a fake ID saying so... plan accordingly. You've partied before and im sure youll have friends of the age.

 

If you decide to get a fake make sure its a quality one do some research. If they catch you with a shitty fake they will take it and you will get fucked.

@@Harrie it's too expensive come live with me in estonia, beer is about .90 euro cents a pint and you have to try rlly hard to get a pizza that costs more than 15EUR.

Thnxthnx and nw bout the fake ID i've got my methods was jw if theyre really that strict cos over here when i wasn't 16 yet and i used to get caught with someone else's id for example they would just tell me to get out of there ezpz
