world71 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 So I recently bought a car which I have spent a lot on getting it to be the car I wanted from engine conversions to making it look pretty darn sexy but! Now I have a issue were I'm losing all my coolant iv been to 3 garages which all tell me something different but all don't want to work on it because it's now "to complex of a engine" thinking about just stripping it and selling it for parts now as still don't know if it's a head gasket issue or water pump!
Pick n mix Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 sounds like you need to take it to someone who knows what theyre doing
Its zeh noob Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Check for leaks when you park it, try to get as much info as you can (temperature/loss of power/noises) and talk to someone with knowledge. Maybe ask a garage with a no cure no pay policy. But tbh, leave your next car as standard as it can be. Shit will break less quick and the investment is never worth it once selling the car.

Peen Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 wheres the coolant leaking from lol the system isnt that difficult pull up a parts explosion on google and hunt around it shouldn't be too difficult and if your strangely losing coolant after you turn the car off and its just sitting its because there is pressure in the coolant system and your car probs needs a new head gasket rip monies.
mlaK Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 haha ive had a car for the last 6 years and I dont know dick about fixing them

Yeah I never bought it as a investment I just wanted something fun to play with so that's what I did as for the problem i only seem to be losing water/coolant when engine is hot so could be water pump but as you have to replace timing belt to get to the pump it's still abit expensive but oh well you win some you lose some I guess :/
