Rites Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Arena is cancer but basically you have to learn to choose cards that go well with other cards and cards that can also be very useful on their own. In the end it's very RNG based though. That's where your general hearthstone skill comes into play

Dario Posted January 13, 2016 Author Posted January 13, 2016 Nice curve (more early than late, but stay tempo orientated not agro) , value cards (4/5 is better than 5/4) spells->minions. Taking damage is fine. Play for board control, play around t7 flamestrike/t4 conceration. try to force turn 3 hero power against druid/mage. play around mctech at all times, don't overextend. save your removal as long as possible (don't assasinate a 3/6 fen creeper so you can push for 4 face damage, save it till something like force tank max gets dropped) don't overvalue taunt, yet->senjin. You want to have some draw, the lower your curve the more draw you want. cycle cards like wrath are op. azure drake is a sweet 5 drop Play paladin. Arena is aids right now, everyone plays paladin and uses heartarena to get the best drafts possible (tells you which card is better) so everyone has a good deck. I used to average 8-10wins now it's 3-5. 3 wins get's you your money back, (around 50gold + a pack most of the time) and 7 wins let's you play another time (150g + pack most of the time) You are a Legend, fag. I went for mill build on priest that focused on outlasting your opponent by simply making him draw so many cards he had to discard half the deck. Different champs got different routes, for example with spellcaster you want to maintain the table control and bully your opponent out, with hunter you rush to get everything out on the table etc. I would build some unexpected stuff to mindfuck your opponents, like bunch of annoying creatures with deathrattle. Haven't played hs for about a year now, which is why idk what the current metas are and how people approach their fights. I am more of a magic the gathering guy, and I found heartstone very limiting, if mtg is chess then heartstone would be checkers.
