Craig Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) An Insight to what it looks like now if you have never been. Such an awful place but it reminds people that things should never happen again or similar things be repeated. Little random to post on these forums but i came across it on facebook and thought i would share it. Edited January 27, 2016 by Lord Of War
Thanos Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Just seeing this place makes me nauseous :/ It is awful to think about was happened here in the past, but we should never forget.
Bjorn Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Seen this last year shortly after release, think on the day that it was exactly 70 years ago actually Visited one of the concentration camps myself in 2010. It was like 25 degrees celcius easily, but when you walk around there you cannot escape from a weird feeling of dead, sadness and just cold.., you hear the stories of people who know it in detail... you feel amazed that people can do such things. Everyone who has not visited one yet... if you ever come to Europe or live in Europe but have not had the chance yet... do not doubt and visit. Probably little too far to say live changing experience... but very, very eye opening and something to never forget. 3
Callum Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Wish I went there with the school. We had the option. Went to France instead
W3` Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I recommend reading the book called "Rag Dolls" a true concentration camp story, lived and written by Henry Golde. He's a resident near me and hearing him tell me his story personally had me on the edge of my seat, it was having such an impact on me. 1
