Hi guys, I have a school assignment wich you can help me with. I need 3 ppl of different countries that want to answer 3 questions and have a picture of them in their city. the questions will be stuff about your city.

 

questions: 1. WHY IS THIS YOUR CITY ?

Are you born here?  Where do you come from?  What was your motivation to move to this city? Do you feel accepted by this city and its community/communities? Are you happy here? What are the most attractive traits of this city ? Are there negative aspects about living/ Working or studying here? Is it easy to connect with other people? 

2. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE OF THIS CITY ?
Does this city has a bright future?  Or rather a dark one?  Are you optimistic about it?  Or rather pessimistic? Do you plan to stay here?  Why or why not ? What about the economy of this city?  What about the infrastructure ? Sustainability? The quality of life? Is migration a positive driver for that future or rather a negative one ? Is the city too small? Too big ? Are there enough parks? Facilities for children, sports, culture ? What about jobs and working in this city ? Will the economic crisis affect this city? Is there a vision  and leadership in this city ?

3. WHAT WOULD THE WORLD MISS IF THIS CITY FELL OF THE MAP ?
What makes this city thick ? What is unique about it? What would the world miss now if this city had never existed?  If you compare the city with an animal/tree/car/famous actor/ – who or what is it then ? Is this city a tiger? An oak ? Leonardo Di Caprio ? And why ? If you are out of this city for a long time what do you miss or would you miss the most?  Are there people/ brands/ attitudes/a state of mind that are typical for this city ? Does this city have a soul ?

 

You don't have to answer all the questions, just the main questions and if you don't have enough inspiration, you can use the other questions

here let me solve it for you:

 

 

1. I live in the capital city of Estonia, Tallinn. The whole country is basically turning into a city state turning everything outside of Tallinn into no-man's land, luckily the service covers 100% of the land so I get to ride between my countryside cottage and flat while enjoying high-speed broadband internet in the middle of nowhere. The communities have died out everywhere since collapse of soviet union. Estonians are like hedgehogs, in solitude in their own habitat and angry towards outside disturbances, gl socializing with us.

 

2. There will be 2 possible solutions to future of our city:

Fuck I hope this city disappears, along with 100k russians that live here. Yes I'm racist and nazi minded, fuck the refugees. City is shit, but our country has the most super models per capita, most forested country in europe and most of our wilderness is dotted with national parks and swamps with ancient woods. Almost forgot about our old city which has pretty much remained same since 11th century when danes came and founded it(yes, this city founding story is also how danish flag came to be).

 

 

Little sidestory to second question:

To live in our capital city you have to be able to speak at least 2 languages of the next 3: russian, english, estonian.

We have fuckton of people that have grey passports(neither estonia nor russia wants them therefor they have been left without citizenship), these people are 100% people who migrated to estonia before collapse of soviet union, back then russians migrated to estonia got preferencial treatment(free flat in newest complexes, work in good factories, a family car) which in most cases struck them in their heads and same with their successors.

 

When there was no more cccp they lost their citizenship and now when facing opportunity to move back to russia get russian passport or actually apply and go through the exams to get estonian passport(free healthcare, free universities, everything is fucking free for estonian living in Tallinn) instead they choose to go out and protest for russian language schools and national dual-language law, nobody cares about them because they have no citizenship, anywhere.

 

Yeah nobody likes estonian russians, the ones over the border are cool and don't think they are priviledged.

 

Which is why nationalist minded parties got into parliament this time.

1- I choose London because of the amazing diversities here, i knew that even though i was coming from Puerto Rico to the United Kingdom i wouldn't feel alone at all. I love everything about London, the people are nice, there's always something to do and everything is always close by. 1 thing that I'm still trying to use used too though is the weather!

 

2- London has an amazing future and i don't think it will go away any time soon, everything here just screams improvement. I can't wait to see what this city has in touch for me in the upcoming years!

 

3- Wow if the world would be missing London i don't think a lot of people would know about the UK! People usually scream "London Bridge", "Big Ben", and "London Eye" whenever they hear the UK! That goes too show what little people know about the UK !!
