gmaul acc question

Tried range to Gmaul on my current pure 82 str 90 range. More often than not someone 75 atk with my range wins. Too easy to hit 60 hp

I had a gmaul pure, got prayer yesterday and im getting 60atk asap

every prayer level is 1/8 of a cb level, so you'd get 3/8 of a combat level up from 31->34 for 5% extra atk. 5% attack from 50 gives you essentially 52.5 attack, rounded down I assume. Training to 52 attack would get you .6 combat levels, but getting the prayer instead gives you .375 combat levels. Prayer is more efficient, but not necessarily worth it as a lot of people say. If the .375 cb levels won't level you when maxed, do it.

I think the way to go is 15/16 prayer if you want ava+dt, 31 prayer seems like a waste since gmaul isn't even 50k.

I would say get either 31 or 44, since ranged will be your main attack and if you do the math you'll be stronger with 15% over the levels you gain from the cbs from ranged 67 or something.

I'd go for 13 prayer, since that small buff does alot and won't lvl your cb.
