How so? using left over Ovl, haven't used the Magic pots yet ( do they go down in stat over times?) Ovl sticks at 115 for 5 minutes for me so I can pretty much afk easily

I mean unless you're using a spell that you otherwise wouldn't be able to, you only gain a little accuracy bonus on things that have low mage def anyway. Your max hit doesn't increase and I'd say your exp hr will hardly, if at all, increase.

Magic accuracy/damage is based on the spell you're using and your gear, mage lvl makes no difference
