Basically ive discovered why i think my headset is shit, i believe my headphone ports are fucked so if i bought one of these(Below)

would i be able to just buy a normal headset again with audio jack and headphone jack + usb like and it this usb adaptar will work as new ports?

if this isn't the case im sure you can buy headsets that just use the usb port any ideas?

the 2k5 headsets can't but if you have the newer ones it will work with the right drivers.

i got the steelseries siberia v3 and gotta say it's pretty damn good for that price

Legit. Myself and Coggy use them. They are great. Px30 or something. I'll get a link when I'm home. All you do is plug a little hub into a USB port then your head set connects to that. Great quality also.
