MAL's ratings are true though. The mainstream anime's aren't anywhere near where they belong, which makes me happy, and leaves room for the unique ones to take the spots they deserve.

Altho i can't say that towards the ones that already have over 200k members rating it as a 9.0, that's just total fanbase.
