dude tbh 1.5 was one of the best versions. steam ruined the game, the registry, so much of the game changed the moment 1.6 was released ( its because valve sold their rights to steam to turn the game into a huge money maker, cuz cs used to be like 30-40 dollars instead of 10. ) if i could go back the non steam version is the best by far. ive still got my 4digit steam id on my other acc and i think my current is either 5 or 6.

 

its a shame that cs:go took over, its kinda cool what theyve done but i wish they could implement the same registry patches that they used in pre 1.6 and keep the models and whatnot that it has currently. would make the game a lot better imo.
