Something I hate

Ever just wake up to a snowy morning and start off with a two hour delay?

You get your shower, get all ready, THEN you find out it's changed to a Closure?

That just happened to me, but of course I am happy of the part that schools closed, But it still makes me a little mad I can't go back to bed seeing that showers completely wake me up in the morning.

Just a little pet peeve of mine.

My rents are up by like 5:30, so they watch the news and shit before they leave... If I have the day off they don't bother waking me up, so I don't know the pain of figuring out that it's a snow day after I get ready. :)

But there have been days when I wake up, get dressed, go to school, and figure out that everything is cancelled due to a storm arriving within 20 minutes. Then it gets shit, 'cause I have to walk home in the storm. :(

Have had to do this once before in a big blizzard, except the blizzard was going on while I was going to school lol.  Got there to find all the doors locked, ran around for like 10 minutes trying to find an open door when someone let me in and told me I had to gtfo and walk home.  Was a FML moment.

That would be logical, but my school has retarded door systems.  They have certain times when some of the doors are open, other times when none are open, pretty much outside of ~8AM it's a guessing  game as to which doors are unlocked.  And on this particular day I think they may have locked all the doors, which they hadn't ever done before.  Some kind of electrical work was being done lol.  Point is, I didn't find out all the doors were locked until I tried all of them  :wow:

Also saw other people outside, so I thought they knew where they were going but it turned out they were doing the same thing as me -.-

Ive never had a snowday in my life. We have 2 bad weather days for the whole year and if it doesn't snow (99% chance that it wont) we just get 2 random days off school.

atleast your school gets closed >.< my headteacher dosn't give a shit at all. The heating was broke yesterday and we were all freezing to death and he still didnt let us go home. && it was heavy snow outside.

Haha yeah I would be doing that, but the roads are so horrible and theres like 8 inches of snow out there that I can't drive. Plus it gets closed at around 8 am :\

I get out of school at 10:30am since im a co-op student. I got a 2 hour delay and had to go for a half hour. That's bullshit, tooked twice as long to walk there and back since my mom had to go to work at my regular school time.  :angry:

I once woke up at 7 am, got ready for work, went to work at 8, to find out they rostered someone else on as a trainee, was like kthx go home n drink 3 cups of coffee and jump on the xbox l0l.

The college started at 8:30, the message that college was closed got posted at 9:30. GG me.
