After our last set of weekend trips we look back on 2016 and all the great victories we've shared together. We had our ups and downs during the year, but we persevered and we worked hard to achieve what we have. It has been another great year to be part of Final Ownage Elite, and everyone here should be proud to have been a part of it.

Without further ado, I present you the first part of A Year in Review.

We had an extremely successful year since reopening. We took Prep streaks to new heights, dominated Wilderness performances and as cherry on top beat TLP in an extremely tense full-out, sealing our rivalry win. January was up ahead, and we were determined to make 2016 as amazing as 2015 had been. The Finals of the Jagex Pure Cup were coming, and EOP was eager to steal our victory.

We started the New Year with multiple amazing performances. We clutched a BO5 P2P prep against Doom being down 5, ending up with a 3-2 victory.

After that, Friday night's Teamspeak was buzzing with activity and we chose to head out in the Wilderness with over 50 elites. We hit quite a few clans in the wilderness, having strong fights against both Doom and SV in low and deep wilderness.

For the first trip of the year, Saturday F2P, we pulled around 50 Elites and had an action packed trip (shout out to FI having over 50 on the cape counter every now and then...RIP).

The day after, our speciality, we pulled 80+ Elites and ran over other clans. Multiple main clans made an appearance, but we persevered and continued our undefeated Sunday performances into the new year.

The week after we started with two large midweek PK sessions. Pulling anywhere from 15-30 we roamed around the Wilderness and stumbled upon quite a few clans and teams. We had loads of members sitting in TS waiting to go out PK and the amount of Midweek topics we had during this month reflects this.

We also won 2 F2P preps this week, against CP and FI, beating both clans without losing a single round, and taking another clean 3-0 victory from Fatality in the P2P server.

That Saturday, 16/01/2016, was the moment where we once more proved we are the best P2P clan of all time. Our opponents EOP talked a lot of shit as we have come to expect from them, and we talked shit back. After getting an insane win over TLP, coming back down 7 in one of the most intense full outs in history, all we needed to do was overcome one last obstacle. This was our fight to win.

And before we knew it, it was over. 84-0. It hadn't even been a fight. Our performance was so good, EOP didn't stand a chance. And honestly they never did. We wiped the floor with them in only a few minutes, and we got the victory we worked hard for. Countless of prep wins, inner clan events, tanking, PKing, all tiny pieces of this final moment where it all paid off. The victory we deserved.

As Henrik said right after the win:

"You can all be proud to be a part of this amazing clan and community that is Final Ownage Elite.

EoP doesn't even know what hit them, it was over as soon as it started. Couldn't have wished for a better 100 men to fight alongside on this day.

We as a clan have been through alot over the years, and today marks a very important day in the history of FOE. We've been working hard for our statue and now we have finally achieved that. Let's take this hype and confidence that we saw today with us into the wilderness starting again tomorrow. The legacy continues!

It's without any uncertainty that I can say "We da best".

This day after, still fully hyped, we pulled over 80 Elites again, and hunted TLP. After beating them in the Jagex Cup semifinal they were looking for revenge and tried to hunt us on the weekends...something that spectacularly backfired. After setting ourselves up in the Al-Kharid Palace TLP attempted to fight us head on, easily down 20 opts to over 40 opts during their worst moments...and quite frankly didn't do much other than teleing in and dying to us. After resorting to 1-iteming us for a while we cleaned them up one last time, claimed the victory and peaced out.

Another two prep weeks in the final week of January, leaving us with an undefeated prep record for the New Year, winning against both EOP (P2P, 2-1) and SV (F2P, 3-0).

We concluded the month with two great PK trips.

Pulling 60 for the final Saturday we had good performances against FI and EOP. Every other fight consisted of large clusters will pretty much every clan in the pure community crashing, and we maneuvered in and out of the fights for the rest of the evening.

We pulled close to 80 for the last Sunday, and hunted TLP. Searching for them everywhere we chased them to FOG, CA, Sperm, 26-hill and Al-Kharid. Consistently having a dominant advantage both in performance and opts, we ended the trip with a final hit, having more than twice as many Elites as TLP at all times.

What a great start to the New Year. We took the Jagex Cup victory, we had an undefeated streak of preps, we pulled high to both F2P and P2P and simply dominated. 2016 was off to a great start and it only seemed to get better. We had a lot of hype going into January, and members eager to make the difference. Jack stepped up to the Leader position and with multiple additions to the ranked team the future was looking very bright for FOE.
