Fixable?

Fiance was mad. Slammed my laptop screen as hard as she could. Screen is lit up still, but it's just black. Rebooted it 20 times thinking something might change. Nope.  And it makes these odd noises.. Think it's worth paying someone to try to fix? Or just throw it in the trash?
