I've been thinking. I mean, really, what's the point in life? If you truly understand the size of the universe, and I mean the sheer magnitude of it, you should also realize just how fucking insignificant we are. I mean wow, we don't mean fucking shit. You, me, everybody. Fucking pointless. Think about how old the universe is, how endless it is, and how there could be even more outside of it. Do you honestly think that anything you or I ever do is going to mean shit? The answer is no, it won't. If we die, sure, we might be remembered by loved ones, or made some small impact on the Earth (though very doubtful), people will forget. Those who remember you will die, and so will anyone else who might ever even remember your name. Eventually, you slide completely out of existence in any way, and time just keeps flowing, and it will forever. We are fucking pointless in every single way.

If you think about it like this; On your eyeball there are Millions of bacteria, to that bacteria your eyeball is madcunt big, if they ever left the eye they would be pretty much in a whole new world.

tl;dr We fucking suck.

i like example abt eye. if one bacteria leaves eye, another and so forth. Soon enough that eye might stop working properly. Lets say other parts of body is the universe. it wont impact them but fucking surely all of it gonna miss that one eye. after some time sure body gonna be adjusted to eye fucking up. so what is my point?

Have fun. No one going to remember how much fun you had doing something. Only you. So purpose of life is like you go on vacation. You have fun and relax. In life you need to do the same, it's all about that. Laws, Government ect.. fuck this up for us because they restrict us from doing everything we want.

Most people lives will end up like this: education - work - partner - family - grow old - die. Because we have fucked up example set to control us.

So anyway fuck that one, we might be insignificant compared to some-things but if you had significant life, fun all the time the way you want it, then sir, you win life. Once you about to shit yourself before you die, you gonna think.. damn, i done some wild shit in my life. I cant even thing of something i didn't do.

Honestly, its hard to say what our purpose in life is.  I guess its for us to decide.  For me, i wanna have fun, find love, and maybe make a difference for the better in someone else's life if i can.  As for the size of the universe, ive always said its an awful waste of space if nothing is out there, maybe someday we'll have a bigger role in it.

It would take billions of light-years to get to 'The edge' of the universe as we know it. The chances that we are the only ones are very slim.

Life in it's self is pretty pointless to be honest. I liked T.J.'s stoned answer. Makes a whole hell of a lot of sense.
