Jim Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Connor, album sales in hip-hop prove nothing other than that his demographic is made up of teenage girls who are convinced that the only music which exists is the mainstream. Not to mention that you could hardly call Lil Wayne hip-hop, he's pop. Enjoy being suffocated by MTV and the undeserving, talentless cunts that they produce.

Only reason his music is classed as hip-hop and not pop is because hes black, heard much better lyrics in some pop songs anyway..
Guest Emote|Muse Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Good rhymes bad ryhmer.watIs that a Lil Wayne fan trying to give advice regarding rapping? "The sales leaders were teenage country sweetheart Taylor Swift and rapper Lil Wayne, with Swift getting the crown as the year's top-selling artist and Lil Wayne claiming the biggest-selling album in Nielsen SoundScan's year-end U.S. music sales report." He must be god awful. Just because we appreciate diffrent styles of hip hop doesn't mean that my style is worse or better then yours. Please get off this thread before you continue to make yourself look stupid. As much as I hate to agree with Jim...He's right, Connor, you're retarded lol.
Bows 0n Fire Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 You had some great moments in there (AGS, over 9000? Must be glitchin'). And some lame ones. Keep working, I think you can do better if you try :)

Lil Wayne is ok, some of his songs are decent. But compared to other rappers out there.. he's complete shit, his freestyles are.. terrible.

I had this huge word document written dissing Lil Wayne and thoroughly explaining why he was awful. I'm gonna have to dig that up sometime.
