Adamant/Rune Gloves for Pure

Hey Guys, I wanted everyone's opinion on Adamant/Rune gloves on a pure and what the minimum defense levels are for both kinds of gloves on a pure?

Just use a regen bracelet and stay 1 def. I'm still hoping they allow people to go back to Ape Atol after completing MM without getting the award, allowing 1 defence to get addy gloves like in pre-EOC
