If you start getting into the high 90's you'll start having to mess with maxed rune pures with termoil and 60 prayer. I would try to keep your combat a lot lower if possible.

I had a 60 99 1 with 99 mage / 90 range... I didn't care for it. I destroyed pures, but I prefer fighting mains.. So it really wasn't my cup of tea. It got banned, anyhow after i sold it. lol

If your getting defence on purpose just get 45.

And believe me attack levels aren't worth the combat levels against 1 defence.

I don't see how 99 attack isn't worth it.. 99 90 is sick. You hit amazing combos and are relatively low combat. I'll be 89 combat w/o getting defense. As far as getting 20 defence, I think it's a good decision... I haven't done nat spirit yet, but I'm really considering it. I won't get 45, because I can main pk on my main lol. Thanks for your input though, dude.

turmoil gets you 27+ def and you need 95 pray

94 combat isn't too high. The minimum for turmoil (provided they're 99 str) is 96 cb. There's a handful of turmoil runepures at this level, not very many at all.
