BBLacK Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 As most of you know (I guess), I live in Brazil. Just like my boys @Demais & @mihuuuu Brazil is an amazing country that was colonized by the Portuguese in 1500. Before that, it was only inhabited by Indians (indigenous). It has a surreal cultural diversity and so many beautiful places to visit. Well, I live in a city called Salvador. Its the first capital of Brazil and the third biggest city of Brazil after São Paulo & Rio de Janeiro. Salvador, however, has literally the biggest popular movement in the world called: CARNIVAL. The Carnival in here is known all over the world, and a lot of tourists come to Salvador to go to this huge popular musical party. Every year, around February, there are 7 days of Carnival without stopping. Around renowned artists of brazilian music gather to perform on the streets, most of the time, over "eletric trios". Over 3 million people attend the Carnival every year. Here is a few pictures and videos, so you all can have an idea of how it looks like. "Chiclete com Banana" one of the biggest bands of Axé in Salvador. Axé music is the most famous and played rhythm at Carnival. It is specific from Bahia (Salvador is the capital of Bahia). LMFA0, THIS, HAPPENS A LOT, ALL THE TIME Well, it may look perfect and all, but, the Brazilians know how hard it is sometimes. Carnival is a place of huge fights too. Some people go to the streets on the period of Carnival just to fight other groups. And yea, its the way some people have fun. FIGHTING I made this topic because I wanted to share this big movement that represents a lot of my culture to you all! Carnival is something that I love and its a huge part of me. The feeling of being there is undescribable :) My doors will be open if anyone come to Brazil during this period. Let's go to the Carnival together eyyyy 1
