Bows 0n Fire Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Who actually observes the drinking age in USA? :shifty:
gfdgfd Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Legal age to buy alcohol in Ontario,Canada is 19. At 18 you can sign your life away to the army but can't buy alcohol. Yep england's drinking age is 18, and i'm pretty sure you can join the army at 16
Adolesc3nt Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Legal age to buy alcohol in Ontario,Canada is 19. At 18 you can sign your life away to the army but can't buy alcohol. Yep england's drinking age is 18, and i'm pretty sure you can join the army at 1616? wtf?And I have been meaning to ask a question about schools in England. Here you graduate highschool when you're 18 unless you have skipped a grade, decide to graduate early. Then you go to college. I always see English people talking about college and university as if they are different. Here they are the same thing. Explain?
gfdgfd Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 In England, when you are 16, you can either stay on to "sixth form" otherwise known as years 12, and 13, and do "a-levels" at the school you were already at, or move on to college, where they allow people of all ages to do any course they choose.
