Which do you like better?

I quit RS awhile ago, around when BH first came out. I decided to start playing again though. But I cant decide if i want to play on my old account, or start a new pure. My old account was:

90 range

70 def

52 pray

88 combat

With all the godswords and dclaws and statius and everything, im not sure if itd be more fun to stick with my tank or start a new pure and do some low level pking.

Which do you guys think is more fun?

Pure fighting is more fun with lower cmbs. Once you get cmb 90+ you need to fight tankers and zerkers.

I'd say, 1-40 sum tanks, 40-80 pures, 90-100, tanks, 100-110 zerkers and 110+ mains with max bonus.

Around those levels you should get the maximum amount of fun while pking ;D

Definately go with your tank, as long as you don't welfare, you'll be invincible.. when i used to pk on a tank at that combat i used torags/obby shield etc, whilst others used rune, and i destroyed them.

Stick with your tank, but i suggest you to get 94 mage for veng.

Tanks are good at that level, but a good pure is still better :D

Take, for instance, 99 attack vs 70 defense. PEW PEW PEW. lol.

EDIT: also, if you're going to pk at that level I have 1 of 2 suggestions.. 1, get 80 defense along with 94 magic and keep 90 range. You'll be 90-91 combat. This would make you a true tank, and you'd do tons of damage while being close to invinceable at that level. or 2, get the max level in range you can get for 90 combat. This should be around 94 range. You'd still get 94 mage, of course.

I'd go with option #1, myself.. My 90 range / 80 def tank is a beast, but I'm too lazy to get magics.

I'd sell Zgs/Bgs and get DFS on your tank, get 75 def and 99 range... Fighting against another tank with DFS is annoying as hell, and if you went the non-welfare route your defense bonus would be amazing and you'd be around level 95-100 combat.

thanks for the opinions. As much as I like my tank, I remember having the most fun before I got def. So Im gonna go with the pure. hes 1 def 1 pray, 40 all right now. probably get up some range and str and do some F2P range/2h pking and go from there. if anyone wants to add me ingame:

I never liked high level pking. 65-75 is the best combat range for pking imo.

Thats true, much more fun to kill someone with a dscim combo over 5 hits, insted of a dm which lasts for 6 minutes, lol

id do low lvl i have a lvl 109 70 deffer and a lvl 91 pure p2p is not fun on either.
