Tony Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Last week or so my net keeps going off for like 2 secs and then coming back on. What can I do to solve this? I'm on a wireless connection, I've reset my router a few times. The wireless adapter I have plugged in my computer is old, could it be that? These big spikes normal? Edited July 20, 2017 by Tony

Ando Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 Does it just do it on your laptop or every other device connected? If its just your laptop then try checking for updates, software being outdated can cause it
Josh|0MEGA Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 (edited) Test the adapter on another device, if the issue persists then change the frequency the router is sending over as maybe someone else has got something new interfering. Also maybe check your router isn't set to change the frequency automatically as that can cause random dropouts. Also try test another adapter Edited July 20, 2017 by Josh|0MEGA
