On my laptop When ever I hit the “R” key it brings up the redeem code tab. 

 

Also when I’m typing a word with W in it, it will deleted the word

is your control key held down? maybe it's your push to talk key?

 

Ctrl r is for redeem Ctrl W deleted chat i believe, see if that's it

My control key would sometimes get stuck, almost certainly it's the same for you

OSB sucks but I hope your issue gets resolved
