well for starters, nature spirit is a must, then you can either train the rest, or, do something like souls bane.

dont get 20, 1 def and 1 pray are extremely rewarding if you stick with them until higher combat

I've had a initiate pure back in '06, and they're not that great.

The only reason you should get 20 defence is if you accidentally get a few defence levels and don't want to stay 10 defence.

I beg to differ (with all the previous statements). It's not as cut & dry as they're putting it... If you can AFFORD 20 defence, it's 10x better than 1 defence. By afford I mean if you can buy corrupt armor without thinking twice. Imo, you'd need atleast 100m+ net worth before thinking about getting 20 defence.

The benefits of 20 are amazingly rewarding, but there's a hefty price tag that most people can't pay. Good luck with whichever it is you choose to do :D

true u can do it with alot less

u need around 10m to set u up with 5 sets of statius then u can have ur claws or vestas and ur set i went 20 at 70m but lost my net wealth in pvp

If i were you, I'd do swan song for some prayer xp + good fishing spots, then nature spirit and all those little quests for rune gloves etc.
