144HZ Monitor or 4K Monitor

tryin 2 decide which i want, thinking 144hz as i play csgo/pubg etc

But also thinking 4K for watching movies and stuff (plus 60 hz isnt that horrible)

 

 

any opinions? help meee

Would get a good 144hz monitor, 4k is a bit overrated right now imho as most movies/streams will just get stretched out on it

uh after price i spent on comp, dont rly have the money 2 buy both monitors (will just use my current 60hz monitor for movies/rs on side)

Been using 144hz for last 2 yrs now. Def 144>4k if u play games with high fps. If u want to watch movies then think. How much New films are there that u watch in 4k.

Depends what you do if all you do is play PUBG/CSGO then get a 240hz monitor as that's what is out 144Hz is old came out in 2010, 480Hz will be out soon.

 

4k TV's are cheaper than the monitor counterparts they also have much higher quality with True HDR10 etc while the monitors have fake HDR - Get a 4k TV for playing some games and media consumption/editing etc, 4k 120Hz TV's are out next year with the new HDMI standard.

Remember you will need a beefy PC to drive the FPS to get the benefit of a higher Hz monitor/Res in the first place.

May look into a 240hz but really don't feel like paying $700 for a monitor (joys of being Canadian) so I'll probably just get the 144hz

as for computer it's top of the line ATM(nearly anyways) just upgraded two weeks ago
