What is SwiftIRC?

Back like 10 years ago it wasn't easy to switch worlds in RS, each had individual link etc, so a program called swiftkit was created... allowed you to click a button to hop worlds, was ahead of it's time etc.

IRC is internet relay chat and been around a way long time for e-nerds to chat. Sooooooo Swiftkit got popular they made their own irc server (swiftirc) that's still used today for pretty much all rs chat on IRC. Has admins n shit.

Text based instant e-chat that used to be built into RS apps (but isn't in osbuddy). People use Swiftkit or mIRC or web clients to use.

It's great you'll love it it's not antiquated at all ok TRUST ME
