Hello guys! I'm doing a project for univ and decided to make a video instead of PowerPoint/word/usual shit to cause impact but I need help with an effect from Sony Vegas.

I've a clip of me walking throught for about 10 seconds with a wall on the back(obviously) and I decided I wanted to put a background on it and only show me and the desired background(basically deleting the background on vid) and I guess I'll have to use masking. However, my problem is, when I do masking it works ok but in the next frame the masking will stay in the same place and will cut me walking, if you know what I mean. is there any other way to do it without actually go frame by frame? I know this is possible, I've seen it in a random video I cannot remember of.

MMK what you have to do is you have to record your self walking infrnt of a true green or blue canvas (preferably muslin cloth) then once you have the clip go on video effects and click on chroma keyer then chrmoa keyer out the green / blue background and make sure you dont wear anything of the same color as the bg have fun :) or if you gonna mask you will have to change it fram by frame so gl with that XD

Try that, or edit it frame by frame ;D

I think Justin(1 pure devil) has some knowledge of green screening and is usually willing to help people out, you could drop him a PM. I don't know how to do it, but what zeh noob said basically confirms my assumptions.

you can set a starting and ending point for the mask u know that right? Ur best option is not to ask some1, since its very hard to explain this w/o teamviewing shit.

Better youtube 'vegas masking' and u find loads of guides with video's, best option for u

Or you could simply just pay someone to edit it for you. Only if your to lazy to do it yourself that is
