Buying something thats 8 years old from a junkyard isn't worth it.

For the top of your budget you can get some decent laptops that will easily run RS and some less hard to run games like fortnite etc pretty well as long as you dont try to play at max settings.

Something like this is actually pretty solid for what you want https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=1TS-000X-00S36

That has exactly what I'm looking for, too. I love the numpad on the side.

Thanks boss

I know you say you want a laptop but building a desktop would be so much better and you get more for your money. Gaming laptops tend to be overpriced for what they are.

This ones a bit big but has everything you were asking for, $50 over price range.

More reasonably sized laptop, $50 cheaper than option 1, you lose the i7 from option 1, but for most games an i5 is fine.

3) https://www.bestbuy.com/site/acer-nitro-5-15-6-laptop-intel-core-i5-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-ti-256gb-solid-state-drive-shale-black/6212602.p?skuId=6212602

You lose the 1TB storage space that options 1 and  2 had, but you get a slightly larger SSD to compensate. i5, just like option 2. Same size as option 2.

4) https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-2-in-1-15-6-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-12gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-940mx-2tb-hard-drive-sandblasted-matte-black-aluminum/5722708.p?skuId=5722708

Gets you back to an i7, and its within price range. Only has a 940 in it, but that is plenty for RS. Has a 2TB traditional HDD and no SSD which kinda sucks, but has 12 GB RAM which the others don't. Also, the hinges look like shit and will probably be the first thing to break if you use it regularly.

Overall I'd say spend the extra $50 to go option 1. Regardless what you choose, make sure you go SSD (or M2/NVME) and I'd recommend clean installing Windows on it. Stay away from Lenovo/HP.

A Desktop isn't possible right now, which is why I'm getting a laptop. Otherwise I would hands down get a Desktop. I prefer the portability.

Personally, I would just build a desktop instead of buying a laptop.
