Clan Community: Mobile

With the introduction of a mobile version of the game, do you believe it will impel members of clans to substantially become more active within the community? For myself, OSRS mobile is a huge convenience factor that would potentially keep me active within the community, which over the years has always been very difficult because of work, my wife, and just overally active social life.

 

When members start adapting to the mobile version of the game, will clans set new clan 'rules' during events, due to of the possible limitations from using your mobile; what are your thoughts?

I feel if you can find the time to play on mobile, you can find the time to play on a PC/laptop. Of course there's the convenience factor as well, like if you are at work, obviously you're not bringing your laptop with you. 

 

Definitely going to be a big update & bring more players into the game which is always great. As far as clanning on mobile? Ehhhh I'm not too sure. I'd have to give it a try first, I don't think it'll be too clan friendly. I'm sure PK'ing will be a little difficult to do.

i was in the beta and while the interface is pretty well refined, i really don't think it's possible to efficiently clan on mobile

this would be awesome but realistically no clans would abide by any of the rules

imo mobile will be used for afk training/skilling and maybe low-intensity pvm but i can't see it being used for pking

Only see it as a way for players to skill while at work. It'll be an increase of the average player online but i think the clan community will remain the same.

Will bring in a very limited amount to the clanning community, not through mobile but through getting people back into the game. I'll prob do some afk skilling but thats about it, tbf F2P Saturday wouldn't be too hard on mobile surely.

Dont think so, no. Think it might be ok for afk skills like wc/fish etc, but I personally wont use it at all. Still think its kinda weird that you can play rs on mobile, not a fan of it...

I think it would attract loads of old RS Players but also people that "played" but actually no shit about the game. I think no other rules should be applied though cos I am pretty sure everything pvp related will be far better on the pc.
