I want to get into politics on a national/world level and eventually run for office starting small with city council etc. What are the best sites to look at to keep up to date with world news/nation that aren't completely shit and biased like cnn? Also what's the best way to start out on a career path like this?

I think BBC is like "slightly" more liberal, but NPR imo is pretty neutral (as neutral as you can get in political world) The other 2 I just won't comment since I am not 100% sure

definitely try CNN. Unless you want real propaganda in which case drudge or breitbart or fox news who don't even pretend that their employees are reporters and instead give them the job title "host"

conservatives fucking suck

WSJ is pretty good. Some news outlets are neutral but some have biased too, even if unintentional. I would do your research on it to find out where each lie in the spectrum.
