Ive just tried to log onto OSRS on my old main account my very first RS account I made in 05 for definate, and thats a fresh account.

yeah just treat them as 2 separate games. Only thing is you can use the same account to log into both if that makes sense.

Yes the old runescape (now rs3) is a completely different game with a different combat system entirely. There’s no way to make it even remotely similar to the new game (OSRS).

 

gold is cheap, game is easy, and everyone plays old school. Yes, you have to start over, however, there may be people that remember you/will help you out should you pursue joining FOE.

jagex had an "evolution of combat" update in late 2012 that changed the way combat in runescape worked. there was huge push-back from the runescape community and huge percentage of the playerbase quit, so like ~8 months or so later jagex made "old school runescape" based on the 2007 version of rs. they're 2 different games now, and if you want to play the older school version of runescape again you'll have to make your account again from scratch on the old school runescape servers

OSRS and RS3 uses the same account but different game platform; OSRS is a "oldschool theme" remake which was released in like 2013 as a fresh game for a new start, RS3 is just RS2 evolved.

was crazy when they launched the new game ( OSRS ) it was like we got to experience how the game first started out. Everything was a race, 1sts where being achieved, you would have these large low level crowds all trying to complete certain quests, which made it easier doing some. Everything was expensive, or rare to see until the economy was finally flowing.

Why are people taking me saying ‘recovered’ as I’ve sold the account and taken it back.. I’ve just got it back after years of not using it and forgetting the login details. No one mentioned anything about ‘stealing’ back my account. 

 

Fucking idiots. 

 

Am am I actually missing somethin? Does recovered mean stealing back an account you sold now?
