The two most expensive/important parts are you CPU and GPU with CPU's you basically have two choices intel or amd.

Intel is more expensive but widely see as more reliable and there are more motherboards which are compatible.

In all honesty i used

https://www.tomshardware.co.uk/

&

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/

When i built all of my PCs, there are usually benchmarks for all parts which make it easy to compare value to performance.

Use www.pcpartpicker.com for compatibility purposes, other than that use a YouTube guide on what to do.  I built mine with no prior knowledge or experience, it's just like putting legos together.  All I did was research for about a week and dove right in, if I can do it you can too.. trust me.

Best of luck, bro.

AMD would be better for a build on a tight budget.

Building the machine itself is quite easy these days as most things simply slot in. Just make sure you pick the right motherboard for what you need.

Can always go down the route of websites like pcspecialist and the like, where you can pick what you want and they will build/ship for you. Can always finance it as well if thats something which you fancy.
