Well, today, I sat down with my family and watched "The Mummy - Revenge of the Mummy" or something like that  B)

As i sat there watching, I saw a wicked creature thing called "Anubis". Like, warrior thing, half Wolf thing and half human, wicked combo as you know. This thing is the god of death.

I Drew it in my mind, stuck in a cave, harvesting a near-to-death Adventurer. As he gets lost, he roars in anger and summons WICKED LIGHT POER. yeah you get the picture.. Well Pleease do give your CC, I appreciate it so much :)

(Yeah I know he has a beer belly on the left side, but it's in like 20 layers and i really cba to erase 20 layers :( )

I like the idea behind it. Anubis surely is awesome.

But really, you should try to get your hands on some other programs then just GIMP.

Try Illustrator for Example, or like I do, work the lines out on paper, scan it and overdo it with photoshop.

Yeah, everyone is telling me about anatomy :p Seriously I don't know how to sort it, is there like a website that can teach me about anatomy? Or a book or something, cause' i really want to get into drawing :o I might get photoshop, DL'd the 30 day trial but it's not long enough to learn photoshop :/ thanks guys

You don't need a book on anatomy. They're all useless and can be taught by anybody. If you're really wanting to get the basis of anatomy done, go into a mirror and look at yourself. Look at how your arms fall towards your waist, how your head is in porportin to your body, how your legs are positioned, how your hands seem natural, and if you really want to get the pose down while drawing, pose infront of a mirror as if you were in the signature, and make a mental image of what the pose looked like. Might be a bit embarrassing if someone walks in on you, but hey, if it helps you with your art then go for it.
