VLS Drop Plz Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Okay so I had to just happen to live in the most fail state for learning to drive. I'm almost 18 and in order to get my license I need to have a certain number of hours added to my Driving Log - Where I live, however. The state requires that I have to drive a total of 120 hours which includes mileage and times starting from when I got in the car and when I stop driving. What bugs me though, other states only require something small like 50 hours. God I hate Victoria. Discuss.
I C0NN0R I Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 Perth? i'm in Perth, Perth can smd. i don't know how many hours i have, but i stopped recording em a bit ago, too lazy/busy.
VLS Drop Plz Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 Yes, Melbourne is in Victoria. But I don't live there.

VLS Drop Plz Posted February 24, 2010 Author Posted February 24, 2010 harden the fuck up and learn to drive. 120 hours? thats piss easy who dosent want to drive lol? 120 hours with a licensed driver in the passenger seat. I need to do 120 hours before I can go solo.

Also you cant have friends do it, because the person with you has to have been driving for at least 3 years.
Adolesc3nt Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 It's so easy to get it here. You just have to write down a bunch of fake hours on a piece of paper and take a really easy test. One of my questions had a picture of a 55 mph speed limit sign. "What does this sign mean?" The sad thing is that I was the only one out of a group of 10 to pass it....
Snow Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 I dominated my test, without practicing much. That was a few years back. Just fake the hours if you can, as long as you're a decent driver.. you should be fine.
d72 Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 In Canada you can only go for your G2 (Liscence acter learners) after waiting 5 months lol, like you don't need a specific amount of hours or anything B)

gratz on 0hp Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 VLS you know if u go to a driving school, every 10 hours you do counts for 30 hours on your log?
Idiot_Wasabi Posted February 24, 2010 Posted February 24, 2010 harden the fuck up and learn to drive. 120 hours? thats piss easy who dosent want to drive lol? 120 hours with a licensed driver in the passenger seat. I need to do 120 hours before I can go solo. that is the same as me, ive had my learners for 3 months and done 40 hours. my mum and dad just fall asleep when im driving now :D
Bows 0n Fire Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Here in the US it's 50 hours in most places I believe. 120 sounds like overkill.
Mucca|Blackops Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Victoria is the shit@ and its not hard to do 120 hours 15mins a day i think
Jesus Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 The day I turned 16 I walked into the DOT and got my license without even taking a test. I had to take drivers ed last summer for a week or so, and I had to get my permit by taking a test that was simple. USA has it easy :P
P4|Pink Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I turned 17 on 21st of Dec.. Got my mates book and forged 120 hrs and milage.. now just gotta do test.
Symphoric Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 when i was 16 it was 25 hours behind the wheel, however, i also live in illinois.
