ok, im not an expert so im just saying from sketching view.

* If was me, id start again *

Find a design/ screen shot or something to use as a stencil so you can get an idea of what your attempting to draw. Then start with circles, sausages and squares to make the stencil outline of the character your going to draw and then go over with a darker pencil (or brush since its computer drawing)

repeat until you got your basic design and then add facial fetchers and color in. (can take me hours or days until i personally make something i like, unless is a sketch)

But if you try take it slow and concentrate im sure you'll be able to wow all of us.

p.s if you want CC on your pic atm, i dont like it, to plain, no shading which makes it to bleh and mainly the facial expression and face itself is misshaped and yh lol.

this is going to be most crustiest tut but hopefully you will understand.

Decide were your sauce of light is coming from (this creates a sense of realism)

if comes from left, then light on left and dark on the right (common sense) Just imagine if you stood in the sun, were will the shadow be, which part of your body will be lighter than others so on so on

if light is on top of you, then top to bottom mostly is light and shadow is under you.

Check out deviant art and lurk through peoples drawings and you should get a standard idea of technics and stuff

Nice explaining on the lightsource, Rare.  :nice:

Hmm, my cc is gonna be different.

I think you should use black lines instead of grey lines, make the lines not that thick aswell.

Also, I notcied you tried to make the dragonhide chaps look like they are actually the skin of a dragon.

I think you shouldnt, maybe you should just add a few gray scales on the black pants, to make it less detailed, after all, I think you're aiming for a cartoon style.

Another point is the anatomy, but that's just a thing you will learn by practice. At least you got the thumbs at the right place, unlike some others.  :)

Like I tell everyone who actually gives a shot at drawing, don't forget. Practice makes perfect.

It isn't even shaded, why are you telling him where the highlights and shadows should go?

anatomy is better then your sketch, but the head seems kinda squashed. keep practicing.
