Remy Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 delusional if you cannot admit lil wayne is the best rapper of all time
A A Q Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 yupp, imagine a world where midget wayne is the best rapper.. 1
ceZa Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Lil Wayne has been a great rapper for many years now, but is nowhere near Pacs lvl, neither has he impacted the game like Pac has. But he can easily be seen on a top 10 list for sure, he got some crazy wordplay and flows for days. 1
Nice Net Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 So lil wayne is there but not Eminem? yikes lol 1

Dean Posted January 17, 2019 Posted January 17, 2019 Yeah Lil Waynes not even in the discussion, he's influential and played a large role in how hiphop evolved but he's already been surpassed by Drake, his own weed carrier in his own era. IMO its between Tupac, Ice Cube, Eminem, Jay-Z, Nas and I also think Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang should be up there too if you really start breaking down the critieria for a GOAT candidate, especially if we aren't including 80s dudes like Kool G Rap and Rakim. Big L is my favourite rapper of all time but he just didn't leave behind a large enough body of work to be able to put him in this conversation (last 30 years) w/o bias. Same goes for Biggie, I love Biggie, until like 2 years ago I was team Biggie > Pac all day but objectively Biggie really didn't do much, in his lifetime he made 1 classic (Ready to Die) and 1 decent but IMO bloated double album that got more love than it should have because he died right before it came out. If the debate is literally just Tupac vs Lil Wayne then remys fucking with us all and I just typed this out for no reason.
