Honestly can't judge a musician's talent by their popularity or famousness.  There are countless famous musicians who can hardly call themselves one. I have friends who are more talented than fucking miley cyrus or jonas brothers.  I also know of people who are some of the most talented musicians i've ever seen and thats counting professionals, so yeah, popularity means shit.

i do not mind the jonas brothers, miley cyrus, justin bieber, etc etc etc. because i don't listen to pop. i feel sorry for those that do but it's their decision.

the person i hate and wish would jump off a cliff is john mayor. unlike pop or whatever, he took the best instrument, an acoustic guitar, and completely and utterly ruined.

I totally disagree with you there, how do you think that he ruined the acoustic guitar?  He's really good and unique in his playing, not many guitar players like him.  He's also quite the blues guitarist.  Used to be my favorite but i still like him, great songs to play for the ladies lol.
