#Scout- Scouting & Pking in PvP / BH Worlds

What is this channel about?

A few years ago, there used to be an IRC channel by the name of Lummby; a channel that pkers used to help each other find kills in the more remote areas of the wilderness. Lummby was focused mainly around edgeville dungeon in the Chaos Druids / Black Demons area. A lot of the victims found were inexperienced lower levelled mains, needless to say they were often easy kills for a tidy profit.

Unfortunately, this channel is no longer around, but that is where #Scout comes in! #Scout uses the original idea of a team of people working together to find and kill people in the more remote dangerous areas, and takes it to PvP worlds.

How does it work?

When actively pking in the channel #Scout, the idea is that you have your combat level next to your name, e.g. [77]Benjo. This means that if somebody sees a player around your combat level whilst pking, they can pm you and let you know the location/world/risk of that player. If you were to come across somebody risking big, but can't attack them, you would then look for somebody in the channel with the appropriate combat level and let them know about it.

About Us

[Fi]Benjo - I used to use the channel Lummby a lot when it was still running a few years ago. Only recently have I started going around spots in PvP worlds with TB + Tangle. Finding decent kills that I couldn't attack made me think of Lummby again, and how useful it could be to have a channel like that again. I decided to discuss the idea with the friendly folk at Pk General.

Wee_Man_1311 - After seeing the topic in Pk General, Wee_Man_1311 registered the channel #Scout to be used for this purpose. He is the current channel owner.

[Fi]Drippzz - An operator on #Scout, and a fellow clan mate who was keen on the Scout & Pk idea.

This is a newly registered channel that needs all the support it can get to grow; the more people in the channel, the better the system will work. We would very much love for you to come along and show your support for the idea.

I really like the idea and I wish you guys a good luck but tbh you don't really profit off killing kids with good gear on with the new PvP wilderness.  ( I kind of sound like Kayne West there :lmao: )

Eventually, that will be noticed, but the channel is intended for everyone, not some small group of people

It will just get annoying when mains stop going in PvP xD
