Lol, coming from a Canadian, it was a good game, and good push back from America. Only funny thing is that most of the americans despise hockey, until there team goes 6-0, then suddenly every single American is a hockey fan.

Again dumb set up of the tourney. First lost for the US and they get Silver? Should of been 1 more game US vs Canada since it is 1-1.

Not really, Canada lost to USA, so they had to play Germany,Russia, then Slovakia to get to the Gold Medal game. Usa had to play Switz and Finland lol

I was born in Windsor, Ontario, so going to Detroit was a regular thing for me. Probably why my family got so involved with hockey my whole life lol

As for the game, I was happy seeing that Canada won. Although I had to miss it due to working, still listened to the whole thing via porable radio :D

Also, thought I should mention that it was pretty pathetically close, as we ended up giving up 2 goals somehow lol.

@Jade: It's our sport because WE made it lol. Also, you should look at the stats for the first game: First off we didn't get "spanked" 5-2, we lost 5-3 when the US had WAY more powerplay minutes than us. Also thought I should mention that we had Brodeur in net who almost choked the game before lol, would have been a way different game if Luongo was in net. Also, thought I should mention that we almost doubled you in shots that game, so what does that tell you? And medals? Last time I checked we broke the record for the most gold won by a host country AND as a competing country in winter olympic history. ;)

Baseball? lol the last time I checked baseball was vetoed out by the IOC for the next summer games. Tells you something, doesn't it?
