he ant a close m8, and after school is over and you move on, are you going to see him again let alone care about him? NO

Yes you did the right thing. It's a hard scenario. You could of got it off him and gave the it to the teacher so no one got in trouble. But in saying that, it's the only way the theif will be stopped.

Well the kid who did it was talking to me about it and he said that the teacher left the class and asked for th class to put it on his desk and he wouldn't get mad. Ofcourse it didn't happen. He asked me if I could come in early to talk to him about it. I didn't go because I didn't want to really snitch on the kid because I'm not 100% sure so I'm just not gonna say anything to the teacher and it will probably blow over.

I cant be bothered to read the whole thread, but you did the right thing. Thieves are scumbags. If you can't afford something, you shouldn't have it. Friend or not.. Anyone that's a thief I wouldn't keep close to me, anyhow.
