The recent cheating that occurred and the abuse of an exploit has been dealt with very seriously. We have excellent systems in place to catch and detect players who abuse bugs and have taken appropriate measures.

We have now banned 68 accounts PERMANENTLY, with another 48 receiving temporary bans. There are a further 117 accounts which have been temporarily banned while undergoing further investigation. These will be dealt with very shortly.

To give you some idea of the players involved, here are the ten highest-level players banned so far (based on total skill level):

    * 2,376 total level (520 days of in-game time)

    * 2,308 total level (477 days of in-game time)

    * 2,210 total level (365 days of in-game time)

    * 2,179 total level (1,004 days of in-game time)

    * 2,131 total level (394 days of in-game time)

    * 2,105 total level (202 days of in-game time)

    * 2,102 total level (274 days of in-game time)

    * 2,096 total level (448 days of in-game time)

    * 2,022 total level (337 days of in-game time)

    * 2,021 total level (275 days of in-game time)

We’d like to remind everyone that using macros and abusing bugs is NOT tolerated under any circumstances, and we will ban ANY accounts that have been cheating.

Seen this and rofled at the 1k days guy, spending $300 on membership.

Bad luck if u ask me. He shouldnt had done the bug abuse but alot others did and didn't get banned for it (yet). Jagex partly banned him to spread a mesage not to mess with bugs.

And lets not forget the 150k USD he could have gotten if he had a job :L

Got what they deserved. PS the 1k days guy, think about it. You don't play everyday and you don't play all day every day. That's probably a 7-8 year old account thrown away because the dumbfuck didn't obey the rules.

1k days, holy fuck man, all that work down the drain lol.  1k days, lets say that account is 6 years old, which would be 72$ a year x 6, which is 432$ roughly.  Lets calculate how much money he couldve made with those 1k days.  1k days = 24 hours per day = 24,000 hrs x 7.20 (MY minimum wage) = 172,800$ !!!!!  Wow, he could be one rich kid/adult.  Altho i know anyone in their right mind wouldnt have worked that much, but its interesting to see how much of a waste of time it is and how much you could've accomplished with 24k hours lol.
