Sesshy Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 It means that 0.4 damage becomes 4 damage. 10 damage becomes 100 damage. 10hp becomes 100hp. No change all its doing is moving a decimal place.
Corrupt3d Posted March 4, 2010 Author Posted March 4, 2010 I take enough math class from school thank you very much.
Mighty_Irwin Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 its not a bad update stop being babies about it
end notice Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 this also means that.. if your max hit is 28.4.. you can do 284 damage instead of 28 :P gives you a slight... microscopic advantage
Malgunas Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 this is deff u-gay-ho (yugioh) with the life points. hp which was the old type is pokemon lol
Cub Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I take enough math class from school thank you very much. He's trying to help you, no need to bitch.
TJ Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 The Big hits fill take up room and i cant see health bars when fighting. And when im fighting i like to know what i hit right away. having to think about what i actaully hit messes me up. and all these bi hits were a 3 is 35 makes me think "OMFG eat!" and i end up safing. They is many flaws with this system. what they need to do is add a toggle button so we don't have to deal with this.
HybridAng3l Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Agree with Tj_12, totally should make a toggle for this.. so confusing, i was pking and sum1 said i safe.. i ate at "170"? isnt that like fucking 17?? 84cb. im hatin the new update.
sdsdsd Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 fail update is fail. Fail game is fail. Fixed it for you.
Malgunas Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 already died several times cause i cant see my own hp so i dont know how low i actyually am
Adolesc3nt Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 They cant make a toggle for it. If you had it turned off and you were fighting someone with it turned on it wouldn't work. It either stays or goes. I've never seen jagex remove an update so im 99% sure that it will stay.
TJ Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 they can add a toggle... your reasoning does not make sense... i play in SD and some play in HD.... same thing. they can toggle it.
Adolesc3nt Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Ok you have the new gay hp turned off. You are fighting someone with it turned on. The other player hits a 4 on you (.4 in normal hp), to you it shows up as a 0. You don't see the problem with that?
yamaha Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Its only hard to get used to because your used to the old system.. For the "beginners" 100hp lost is 100hp lost not 10. Sucks for people who are used to things :(
TJ Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Ok you have the new gay hp turned off. You are fighting someone with it turned on. Shut Up Kid Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Ok you have the new gay hp turned off. You are fighting someone with it turned on. The other player hits a 4 on you (.4 in normal hp), to you it shows up as a 0. You don't see the problem with that? jagex has smart people there... they can fucking figure it out. yeah not that hard to figure it out... if you hit a .4 with the new thing turned off, it stays as a 0 but it builds up say you hit a 1.7 your next hit would be 2.1 because the .4 didnt show, then the .1 would carry over to the next hit and so on and so forth.
Bows 0n Fire Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 Actually this update does affect combat mechanics in a big way. Jagex used to round down with hits, ex: the max hit for F2p addy arrows was 18.8, but rounded to 18. Now, monsters that usually hit 0.4 rounded to 0 will slowly chip away at your life points with 4's instead of doing nothing, meaning training for pures just became harder. Good news is that max hits are going to go up. btw Zet I remember you from W19, I Firesage I here :Hi:
Ya i am Good Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 ya maybe its just me but like all my dds specs suck dick i hit like 0-0 -0-0 0-0 0-8? and shit like that almost every time and i r nintey nine strengthz pl0x
