star craft is arguably the most famous/played computer game. i've heard that pro star craft players are looked up to more then pro baseball players in korea, they use to (and might still) have 3 television stations broadcasting star craft matches 24/7 for people to watch. it's their national past time (srs).

it's not just korea tho, lots of other countries play it too. thing is the first game came out in like 98', so people have been waiting around 12 years for this to hit shelves

I looked at it on youtube, SC1 that is.. idk why they like it so much lol. I dont know much about it either but my brother says its pretty much a passtime for them too :o. And apparently its like for the top rank players like 14 are korean and there are like 4 others who arent korean :O

anyways, lots of "normal" people play star craft, i'd be willing to go infront of my class and say i played star craft, but i wont ever let "runescape" come out of my mouth, even when talking to "nerds"
