severed arow Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 This is the first time ive made like this kind of sig how is it? Does it look ok?
Devlz Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I guess you don't know what abstract means. I quote. Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world Other then that. I'm not a fan of it. But that's just my opinion of course.
Hex` Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 TJ, you make the most serious topic funny. OT: I don't think that the colors match very good. And yeah, not really abstract.
TJ Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 :P OT: the red head is from paramore no? she is reallly hot blonde. And as for the abstract... you just don't have it yet :| you need to look up samples of abstract work and kinda play off that. then make your own style once you get a better understanding for that type of art.
severed arow Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010 ok i called it abstract cause i didnt know what else to call it ;) and yeh shes from paramore :)
I C0NN0R I Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 abstract pieces usually use a lot of C4D layers, smudging, colour layers etc to create something detailed. As Robin said also, they don't have renders/extracts.
d72 Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 T'is not abstract, as been pointed out :p As for looking at the signature, I'm not really a fan of the bevelled splatter brushes, the colours clash with eachother, and the text is not really good. Also, I don't really like the placement of the stock in my opinion :S All and all it just seems a tad bit mundane :\ However, I'll give you the credit for pursuiting new techniques/new forms of art. Keep going! :nice:
I C0NN0R I Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 I've like never done an abstract, so it isn't that great...
