Fake Smile Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 Quote A court in the US has refused to release a convict who argued that he had completed his life sentence when he briefly "died". Benjamin Schreiber, 66, was sentenced to life without parole in Iowa for bludgeoning a man to death in 1996. He said his sentence ended when his heart stopped during a medical emergency four years ago, even though he was revived. Full article: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-50355168 I mean technically he did die and according to CNN he was resuscitated 5 times so he did serve "life" in prison. ? There's now way this is going to work, but it sounds pretty smart and absurd at the same time xd
dan Posted November 26, 2019 Posted November 26, 2019 smart idea but a life sentence is 25 years not literal "life"
